Small Groups
Our small group Bible studies happen in each other's homes.
We enjoy each other's company, input, and perspective. Opening the Bible and discussing the context and relevance of Scripture is refreshing and eye opening.
On Sunday evenings we meet in Acampo, and are studying the chronological flow of the New Testament. We are exploring the life and teachings of Jesus, the beginning of Christianity and how life in Christ was lived by those early Christians.
On Wednesday evenings we are studying the Book of Romans at a home in Lodi. We have been discussing how the early church in Rome was encouraged to celebrate the new life in Christ that they had been given. And how we too can celebrate and enjoy the new life we have been given in Christ.
We are starting up a new small group in Stockton on Thursday nights. We will be looking at the "nooma" videos, featuring Rob Bell. This 24 video series is well done and thought provoking. Each video is about 10 minutes long and serves as a great place to start deep and relevant discussion.
Everyone is welcome to come and share in this time of study and discussion.
An open mind with an open Bible is an awesome combination.
