Women's Ministry
Women IN God’s Service, WINGS, is a vibrant ministry of New Life Christian Fellowship.
We have a three-fold mission:
- to come together as often as we can to participate in fellowship events and spiritual development
- to organize and facilitate the Hospitality and Welcoming tasks of New Life
- to be quick to serve each other and members of the church when we have tangible physical needs
Our mission is accomplished through women’s outings and activities, in service before and after worship on Sunday mornings, and whenever another member or family experiences a new birth, marriage, illness, or loss. We are a complement ministry to New Life’s Point Man men’s ministry, and we endeavor to serve with willing hearts as did the early Christian sisters described in the New Testament.
Christian women have such a beautiful way of nurturing and encouraging each other as we draw closer to
Christ. Those who have been Christians for some time are a marvelous resource for mentoring younger sisters just as the
Church was instructed to do in Titus, chapter 2. In this way we mentor each other in our faith, and in building strong
marriages and families. Our vision is for every woman to deepen friendships - and to forge and build new ones as our
congregation grows and we experience more opportunities for service.
Whether your Spiritual gifting is administration, mercy-giving, hospitality, prophecy (teaching),
generosity, or encouragement, there is a place for you to serve and be served here at New Life Christian Fellowship.
WINGS supports you in exercising your gifts in ways that strengthen relationships and promote spiritual growth in the
body of Christ. Our goal is to assist each other in identifying our spiritual gifts, and to encourage each other in the
facilitation and development of those gifts.
Christian sisters coming together to serve, strengthen and support each other and our congregational family- - that’s what WINGS is all about.
